collaborative world peace spell/prayer/meditation

I propose a collaborative world peace spell that we could
improvise, I suggest at 2300 GMT Thursday Oct. 15 (so 8:30 p.m.
Newfoundland Daylight Time or 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time or
4 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time). But if that time is not
convenient then you could do it at some other time. If you
don't want to improvise a spell then a simple willing of world
peace, or meditation on world peace, or even a prayer for
world peace, should be just as good .

Magical thinking can be fun.

To think it's possible to will world peace,
or to meditate peace, into existence,
can be a great thought.

If Hitchens were a Taoist
perhaps he would have sat back
in some sort of chair and done nothing.

If everyone did nothing,
then the world would be at peace.

Most excellent indeeds you dew!

Militant atheists are looking for tribbles.

Rather than meditating on world peace
or casting magical spells, or even entertaining
such a wonderful idea as prayer, or seeing how
communism or captialism or territorialism or colonialism
or imperialism are to blame for bad shit in the world,
they go after those who hope, who pray,
who believe in some god.

They might rather fight for peace,
being, such as they are, fighting for a cause.
Against religion, of all mythical things.

To fight for peace might
at times be a funny thing one does.

To sit down and talk for peace may
be a better Way, for a spell.

A world peace spell casts a shadow.

I had forgotten all about it
as the peace I had was, and is, unbroken.

Thanks for the reminder!

Welcome to my world.

Welcome to my world.
Moron.
You give me too much credit.

I am more precisely a complete idiot.

Unlike some, incomplete ones.

To be even more precise, I am
a complete and total idiot.

Which could be redundant.

My IQ is, basically, zero.

All of that is however, beside David's point
which Julian's link appeared to be tangential to.

When you hold fast to the center
do you find your peace broken, much?

How sacred is your world?

"Twenty-nine
Do you think you can take over the universe and improve it?
I do not believe it can be done.
The universe is sacred.
You cannot improve it.
If you try to change it, you will ruin it.
If you try to hold it, you will lose it."

He's too self-absorbed to wake up, convinced that if he can win the game
he'll be happy; there's better reading in the funny papers. I should
take a look at BBC news one of these days just for grins, they changed
to a more flashy/blinky format a while back and I never returned.
